Friends & Amigos: New Beginning or Comenzar de Nuevo

Back in 2004 I said:

October is a month of beginnings for me as September was of preparation. After surviving a compu crash, I'm up and running and reconnecting with my groups and my writings. Still I must finish recovering what I can from my hard disk as most of my recent drafts weren't backed up. But that's life. May be my higher power had different plans for those attempts. So, here I will try to show some of the things that interest, upset, wonder, and owe me, in this large field of the humankind, sitting on the bridge between an English speaking universe, and a Spanish speaking world, with roots on both sides. To my friends, fill free to butt in, you are most welcome to share, add to, or vituperate my musings. To my enemies, stay out, I know how to deal with you guys. In the words of the poet, "Caminante, no hay camino, se hace camino al andar." So today, I start walking this way.

Then I lost my password, and didn't recover it until today, few days past my 64th birthday and over year and a half later. So got to see some comments which were not comments at all, but crude spam. So I twicked the settings some more. Now I'm ready to roll... and restart the journey...
